Bachelor of Music
All applicants must submit a formal undergraduate admission
application and fee,
and submit an Audition Questionnaire Form and fee,
in one of the vocal or instrumental performance areas.

Priority application due date for Fall incoming freshmen is December 1, 2008.
Transfer applications for Fall admission are due by January 15, 2009.
Mid-year transfer applications for January admission are due by November 1, 2008.

Audition Information and
Requirements
Auditions are arranged through the use of the Audition Questionnaire Form. If
distance prohibits a personal audition,Performance and Jazz applicants may submit an audio cassette
tape, video tape, or compact disc. CDs must arrive by November 1 for spring admission and by February 1 for fall admission. Scholarship consideration and admission to the Music Education option must be in person.

requirements. Undergraduate Transfer Students Transfer
applicants must complete the admission requirements
described previously, and, in addition, must submit
an official college transcript. Transfer students from
other accredited institutions may receive credit for
those courses that are equivalent in content and credit
to courses offered in the Mason Gross School of the
Arts curriculum and passed with a grade of C or better.
A $75.00 non-refundable audition fee is required along with the Audition
Questionnaire Form. If you are submitting the form online, kindly send
a check or money order payable to Rutgers University to:
